About Tai Chi

Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese art which aims to improve balance, strenghth , co-ordination and mobility through gentle excercise. It is recommended by the NHS for both mental and physical health, this includes recovery after an injury or operation.

This form of Tai Chi is suitable for everyone at any age or state of fitness, or lack of it, and can be done standing or seated. Classes are one hour in lenghth and finish with a short meditation.

The sessions are held on Monday in Woolsery at 10.30am and 11.45am and in Parkham's Allardice Hall on Thursday at 2pm. No special clothing or mats are needed.

Your first session is free, then a voluntary donation of £4 to £5 are invited.
