Come relax and enjoy good food in pleasant surroundings. The Mad Hatters is not your usual Garden Centre Restaurant, it is full of traditional charm with local memorabilia on display of the Braund Family, that once resided at Buck Mills a stones throw away.

We provide waitress service and believe in good traditional home cooked food, with friendly service to match.

We are open from 10am serving traditional breakfasts or why not try one of our delicious toasted tea cakes they are a real customer favourite. We aim to make all our cakes and desserts, in order to add that little extra taste, we want you to enjoy every mouthful.

The restaurant overlooks the lake that is fed by a babbling brook, which turns the water wheel on the mill house, children are welcome to feed the fish under close supervision of an adult. The gardens are full of interesting ideas and you will often see our staff out there busy tending to the plants.

A traditional Devon country pub that prides itself on serving good food and real ales in a friendly, welcoming atmosphere.

Horns Cross is a small village on the North Devon coast. It has a nearby beach called Peppercombe and is just off the North Devon coast path. Nearby is the local seaside town of Westward Ho! and the picturesque village of Clovelly.

We have three rooms, a family room, a twin room and a double room, all available on a bed and breakfast basis. All rooms are en-suite with flatscreen digital televisions. The rooms have views over the stunning Devon countryside and are separate from the main bar, so offer a quite place for you to rest and relax.

The Hoops Inn

The Hoops Inn & Country Hotel, a picturesque part-thatched Grade II listed property set in glorious countryside near the North Devon coast. 

The Hoops Inn and Country Hotel has a first-class reputation for its food using only fresh, local seasonal produce. Guests can dine in the candlelit restaurant, the relaxed bars or, on warmer days, outdoors in the covered courtyard or the attractive gardens. Our restaurant can accommodate up to 50 diners, while the bar area seats 72 with space for a further 100 people in the courtyard in the warmer months.

For dinner parties and small private celebrations we also have private dining rooms available.

There is ample free car parking for our customers off the main road behind The Hoops Inn.

Bell InnBell Inn

Set within the heart of the rural Village of Parkham nestles the 13th century Bell Inn. Originally a forge and two farm workers cottages the Inn is steeped in history. Behind the immaculate cream-painted frontage there is a wealth of old world charm, with oak beams, cob walls and open fires all under a traditional thatched roof.

The menu provides a wide range of home cooked dishes using where possible fresh local produce. A lot of the dishes are based on traditional Devon recipes freshly cooked to order by our experienced cooks who add there own special twists.The delicious desserts are all made on the premises.
