Bideford Target shooting Club
Bideford Target Shooting Club exists for the enjoyment of local small-bore rifle and air-gun enthusiasts.
The Club can trace it's history back over 100 years and was until May 2013 known as Bideford Small Bore Rifle Club, further research is being done on our origins. We welcomes members of all abilities and ages and hope to be able to bring full disabled access to our new club when it is built.
The Club has an active membership of over 40 shooters, which is expanding, showing an increasing interest in the sport; we always have a waiting list.
Bideford Rifle Club / Target Shooting Club has a history of outstanding success in competition, both locally and nationally; 12 current members of the Club represent Devon County in national inter-county competitions. Over many years, members of the Club have enjoyed considerable international success – as shooters, coaches, captains, managers and judges – and are continuing to do so.
